Default replacement keys

So my friend decided it would be a good idea to use the one and only key to my 240 to pry something open, in turn, breaking it.
I would like to avoid taking my column/ignition apart and using a screwdriver to start my car.
I'm assuming that the dealership ought to be able to look up what the key pattern should be based off of the VIN right?
I've done this with older Hondas, so I would think Nissan would do it too.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Looking to get what all is needed to make this happen so she can get it taken care of Monday morning.

The dealership's copy of FAST only has key codes that go back 10 years. You best bet is to find the 3-4 digit number on your glovebox, which the key cutting machine will accept still.

FYI, publicly available copies of FAST don't have key information

yeah, that was the part I was trying to avoid. I've got a guy that will make new keys if I bring him the ignition itself. Had to use him a lot when I was working at my buddy's salvage yard.
I was just hopin' to not have to take the whole column apart to get the ignition out/off
