Need a rough parts list for a RHD conversion.
Need your help guys.... I found a clip in Atlanta that I may be going to pick up this weekend. The clip is not complete. I would like to ask the guy what all he has left to the clip, but thought it may be a bit easer if I ask him if he has the certain parts needed. (Give him a list.) He gave me a rough list of what he had, but I don't know what else is needed. If one of you have some knowledge in this area, can you take a second to type me a list? or if you know of some links that go into detail about how to do a RHD conversion that would be great. I would hate to drive all the way up to Atlanta just to get a fire wall and a few other parts.
Thanks...
Thanks...
I really dont think you need anything

I hope you are good with wiring because think about how much wiring you will have to do to make everything work.
That being said
firewall (obviously)
steering rack (I have an extra one if he doesnt have one)
dash support bar
dash
center console
clutch master
brake master
clutch line
brake lines
blower box if you plan on running AC
steering column (might be able to use a LHD one though, I don't see why you couldn't)
engine bay wiring harness

pedals are not... they might work, but they're not the same. I had RHD and LHD sitting next to each other, and they were different. I think they way they mount is slightly different. Might be interchangeable, I don't know.
e-brake is the same, but where it attaches needs to be drilled out and rewelded on the proper side.
wiring seems easy so far. just remove your chassis harness and flip it upside down. duh.
just gotta lengthen the wires to the fuel pump, and switch the wires for the turn signals.
And if you have manual windows, RHD and LHD panels are the same! Haha.

The hole going through the firewall is different. The RHD one has 3 bolts that attach it to the firewall, the LHD has 4. Just a different shaped hole. You need a RHD steering column to make it work too.

I want to thank ALL of you that replied to my post. If you happen to come up with any other useful information that will help me out I would REALLY appreciate it. Tips, Tricks, links and so on.
In my search for information, others have asked the same question/ wanted to do the same conversion only to get a reply of "WHY"? Before I get asked that question, Im sure I will.
Why do we do anything that we do? My reason is Because WE(as in me, you and everybody.) can.......
Thanks again for the help guys......
