maf problem?
maf problem?
so got the ecu. got another maf. plug in the new maff car dies down < engine shakes. dead> unplug maf car runs. plug in maff but take out of the intake tube part , car runs. once the maf touches the opening of the intake car shuts off.. dont get it.
the old one might be bad? but the "new" one that has been used doesnt make the car idle any better. the old and the new both make the car die when placed back into the intake... possible vacuum line problem?

there should be 3 to 4 vacuum lines on the stock air intake, are those all hooked up? check and make sure they arent cracked. your car will run like shit if they arent hooked up/leaking

sounds like both of your maf are bad but try to test them in another car
