Diagnose my 300zx engine noise

dude ur pissed that sounds like a couple of rods slamming on ur crank (rod knock)..
if you try and go to work it will blow up then no worky.
you can either rebuild it with new rods and crank,ect or get a whole new engine
i would go with a new engine..

I'd get rid of that 300zx and move to a more maintenance friendly platform. Sucks that it's knocking like that.

It's a limited edition car, so I'm going to rebuild it. I hydrolocked the motor trying to leave the gym in a bad storm, dumb move on my part.

Over on the 300zx forum I had a post telling them I hydrolocked the motor and now it was knocking, they said "post a video of the noise" so I thought why not cross post it here?
And so far the consensus has been its a bent rod, not a spun rod bearing, but I will have to pull the motor to know for sure.
