quick sr alt question.

quick sr alt question.
Ok so i have the ka24de alt on my car, how many hot wires go on to it. I have one and then i have another but its not hooked up. I put it on the main wire bolt that goes on the back of the alt and when I try to put my FL 100A fuse on it sparks like crazy...any ideas.

the big wire which goes to your alt should have like a plastic wahser to keep it from grounding out on the alt itself. pretty much what kyle said, its super simple and super stupid, but i got stumped by the same thing a year or two ago. good luck
