Default maxima starting problems

i hav a late model of a 1994 maxima and one day it just wouldnt start.
today i ran a series of trials such as jump starting and push starting but nothing seems like it is working. i have checked all the fuses and everything on how to start it but i still cant get it to start. So i called some people and i found out that the button on the clutch pedal to press the clutch relay broke so i pressed it and then tried to start it again and it still wont turn over. what else could it be? it doesnt click when i try to start it , in fact it makes no noises at all. so some help would be appreciatied

pull the plug off the clutch pedal switch and put a jumper wire between the 2 terminals.... see if that works....

have you tried just hot wiring the starter?
take a wire from the positive battery terminal to the wire that comes off of the starter. That will tell you if the motor will turn over.
from there, put the key in the run position and see if you can get it to start that way.
If it does start, then chances are, your ignition switch is bad. Happens in older nissans. Pretty popular with 240s...

Also try that ^ jumper trick too. That switch is what won't let the car start if the clutch isn't all the way down. If that switch isn't working, then the car doesn't think the clutch is ever down and won't start...
