Default anybody experienced in HIDs?

well i didnt install these, they came with the car so i dont know what could have been installed wrong but heres the deal.

some bumps will make my front right HL go off(de-illuminate), i turn off both headlights for a couple seconds then turn them back on and then it works again, until another bump or it will cut off by itself.

so to keep my right head light on i got to play a little game with the head lights......constantly.

what should i check for..or do i need to replace a bulb.
just throwing it out there but the headlights themselves were both upside down....so whoever installed them might have not been on the ball

I say uninstall the whole kit and re-install that way you know everything is connected correctly and go from there.

I have installed 2 different kits and haven't had that problem

ya thats normal...its the BOX...? You mean Ballast? re-check the grounds, and go through the wires themselves you may find some chaffed/crimped wires that cause that.

dude there is nothing to HID's should take 5 minutes max to take out and put back in, just take it out, make sure nothing is loose and make sure grounds arent corroded. Ballast could be bad though.

sounds more like grounds, however if your ballast isnt mounted and just chilling somewhere (my issue) and you toss and turn and hit bumps a lot, yeah, your ballast is going out.. buy a new kit. (its less expensive that way)ballast costs almost as much as a new kit
