ok so today i was driving around town for about 15-20min stopped to get gas.then car wont not start turn key on everything works but turn key all the way nothing no clicks like the starter is going bad nothing..so i figured it was a bad ignition switch so i used one from a friends car still no worky..the starter cables are tight battery cables are clean good connectivity...
i really dont know what it is i checked the starter,cables,fuses,ignition i cant figure this out..
i tried google all i found was how to remove the whole ignition switch.
any help on trying to diagnos this would help..
and i dont really want to wire in a push botton start.

 

take a 12v wire and touch it to the relay terminal on the starter and see if it starts. It might just be something easy like clutch safety switch.

 

the clutch safety switch is disabled..
and i just went outside with a volt tester and the starter is getting a full 12v from the battery and when the key is turned on the little wire from the starter is getting a full 12v.
so i think that the solenoid took a shit with out clicking first for some reason.so i have a spare starter im about to go put on but the solenoid is going out on this one lol but it will do untill monday if this is the problem.

 

ok so i swapped out the starter and it started right up but it also started a few times today buy itself.so ill find out tonight im going out drinking just turned 21 lol..if it no worky later tonight back to trying to figure it out. and im taking the old starter to get tested tomorrow

now im just wondering why the old starter shit out with out clicking first??
