Default NGK BKR8 IX Gapping questions

so yeah, i ordered a set of 8's as I'm going to be running 15lbs boost solid daily (bored of 11.5), and i know that some are "pre gapped" but i would like to know if anyone has any luck with a lower gap...

i was reading about a guy who was gapped at .28-.30 just want to know what you guys think, THANKS!!!!!

I personally wouldn't run that small of a gap but then again, I don't have a whole of lot experience with smaller bore motors when it comes to those kinds of details.
I know a lot of boosted honda's run 28-30

What are you looking to gain from it?

nothing really, just whatever is recommended for around 15 lbs PSI....i think they come with .44 which just seems ridiculous...

that doesn't answer the question tim......

as fr the heat range, they say "RACE ONLY" on the packaging... BKR6's are OEM, BKR7's are upgrades, and BKR8's i guess are "the shit" or whatever...

yeah, i was thinking 30ish, as i wont be pushing THAT much boost, but enough to warrent a decent plug, with some longevity to it...

8's sound like overkill for 15 psi... Why not the 7's or the 7eix-11's? .030 is ideal though

i was gonna go with the 7EIX's but the 8's cost exactly the same... better to be over done, then under done... especially when i might see a rebuild and top mount set up sometime within the life of the plugs...
