Buy a normal T50 today and drill a hole in it?

 

that's a lot of work... and I'm really lazy. I would just order it online and wait. But I suppose if you NEED to get your airbag off today that's an option

 

Just wanted one locally, so I wouldnt have to wait.

I found a whole set for 20 shipped but am only going to result to that if nobody will just lend me one locally.

Also I couldnt fine the regular torx socket individually either to drill a hole in it. Just a set as well. I checked the Sears at Tyrone and Countryside and they both dont have them. AAP, Autozone, and Napa don't even know what I am talking about.

 

Also I dont NEED to get it off today but the motor is finally done but now that I put my Takata and harness bar in, I would really like to finish my interior, besides gauges.

 

just steal the one you need out of the set.

 

Or just drill the little center nub down. Easy.

 

That doesnt help me, I still wouldnt have the socket. It would just covert it into a Torx socket and they didnt sell those individually either, and if I were to purchase them I would just purchase the Tamper Proof.

 

Not having a the "proper" tool has never stopped me before. Also, you can convert it to a normal Torx screw by taking a sturdy screwdriver to the bottom of the peg. Apply hammer and enjoy.

 

Buy one from sears use it in the parking lot n return it n say it didnt fit. I did that on the s14 lol
