Default s14 electric question to all u smart people

so recently i noticed that my taillights are staying on even after i shut off the car and i take the key out of egnition, i check all fuses and cant figure anything out, any ideas on what i should be checking on? at the same time my gauge cluster went out but saw that the tail lamp fuse was blown, replaced that and fixed the gauge cluster but not the taillights ploblem.

check what i could but cant figure anything out,

also installed a radio and was workin fine,... all of a sudden no sound trought the speakers... i had a speaker laying around and connected it to the radio harness and sound was coming out...

could it be the amplifier? how would i go about checking it?

As Waldo said, the rubber bump stop behind the brake pedal is destroyed. Replace it soon before you drain your battery leaving your brake lights on all the time.

also check the harness that runs under the driver side fender. if the car is low and/or previous owner had a blow out, it could have been damaged.

If you are going to slam the car, you need to reroute that harness to go thru the engine bay. This is a tedious task of extending all of those wires. Good luck and take your time with the soldering.
