Chemicals for cleaning head?
I have a head I picked up that Im not going to take apart. it has dirt atached to the oil residue that has dried and its kinda dirty all inside the head from sitting In a garage for a while. Any one got any sugestions on a chemical that will break that shit up and what to do after I hit it with a chemical like hi pressure spray teh head? I want to try and remove as much soot as possible in teh nooks and crannys of the head. I really didn't want to make a thread to ask this question but couldent find any info online, besides de-assemble adn hot tank, and thats not happening.
Well if you're going to pressure spray it, any good degreaser will work well. Purple power, Greased Lightning, Castrol Superclean. It's also a good idea to air dry it with a compressor, then spray with WD40 to keep the water off and the steel from rusting.
Or, just sit the head up on it's end and hit it with brake parts cleaner. 4 cans of that will probably get it pretty damn clean. Follow with WD40 for the same reasons as above.

Brake cleaner, then set it on fire... i have pics somewhere, 2 cans of brake cleaner is dangerous, cought me feet on fire, my house, my driveway, was bad news at 3 am. was funny tho.
