I'm still in the process of building my engine, but i notice that there is already an oil leak from somewhere and I have not started the engine yet I just put oil from time to time to make sure nothing rusts... the oil leak is from the apexi hg i got... where the badge is if i was to squize it there is oil on it... can it be that I did not put gasket maker around there? Or those 2 bolts on the sinde of the head are not tight enough?

 

bolts arent tight enough, maybe, or your head is warped

 

the 2 front real long 10mm bolts under the cam gears .. many many people forget them.

Don't overtighten them either... those would be a bitch to get out if you broke one of them!

 

i think its 110 ft/lbs i could be wrong
what did you tighten them to?

 

2 front bolts...lol.. they are are like 15ft lbs... they are not head bolts.. they are front cover bolt
