how do u change oil pump in ka24de
pull the motor. trust us.
you need to:
pull all accesory belts
remove crank pulley
remove oil pan
remove valve cover
remove front chain cover on cylinder head
remove oil pickup tube
remove front cover (pump)
this all is WAY easier to do when the motor is out. dropping the subframe on jackstands is a real PITA. you have to drop the subframe in order to remove the oil pan.

ha.. i just had a 350z get towed in today with half the car in the trunk... guy bought some awesome race oil pump type r and tried installing it while the motor was in the car.

aight ye i have alot of tool but no motor pullew thats why im hesitant to pull motor but i guess ill wait to do it till i can borrow a friends thanx everybody should i just say fuck the motor and get a new one or do u think the motor still good

well is the motor knocking or did you just see the oil pressure drop..
if it is knocking you already need new crank,rod ect. and a running motor is less than 500 for a good one... so you pick
