i'm not "bashing" it per say, cause there's "safe" places to do it, i just don't condone it, even though i'm guilty of it myself, but there's a time and a place for it is all i was trying to get at...

don't go drifting on/off ramps with 100mph entrance speeds, go drive 25+ miles to find some unpopulated country road at 2am (stage 1 / stage 2 here in gainesville, nice spot)... see?

hair metal was the predecessor to modern rock/heavy metal... doesn't mean i love winger, Ratt, whitesnake, Van Hagar, and gonna gobuy thier CDs cause they're the grandaddy of breaking benjamin, pearl jam, pantera etc...

yeah, the ones out here in gainesville when we drive out like 45 minutes to stage 1 stage 2 is pretty fun, RX-7's, scoobys, S chassis, shit fun, got a few turns that a banked and sharp...

the best thing about it is that it's a country road that's like 5 miles long with NO cops, and NO houses... so at 2am, there's NOTHING out there, not even street lights...

that's like saying you shouldn't bash the fast and the furious street racers because that's where top fuel drag racers got their start...

street cars going 170,shifting 6089743 times in 10 secs of racing, road blocks,
yeah it deserves bashing, but i like the movies still, i havent seen the newest one but anyways.

do you seriously think drifting pros never street drifted before? and just got a car and took it just to the track?
when pros were still amature, do you think there was tons of track events? no there wasnt. it was still considered a dumb sport by most when they were learning
