I did a dohc swap in my hatch i did the dohc wireharness too but there is no spark when i try to turn the car over.. checked with a ohm wireharness has power and i dont know how to check the coil

1.Is there anything else keeping the car from sparking then the coil and the distributor?

2.Should the wireharness have ohm readings when the battery is un hooked?

3.How can i check the coil?

 

stick a coat hanger in the coil where the wire to the dizzy plugs in hold it in your right hand and grab the negitve battery post with your left and have someone try to start it ............jk..............lol................... .thats what not to do................inline spark testers are like five bucks at harbor freight and not much more at auto parts stores......buy one......youll never have to ask this question again
