Ok here is what happened. Today we just installed an intake to my friends 95 240 sx. Everything seemed to be ok when we took it for a spin the first time. Later on the day he told me that his engine would slolwy shut off after starting the car. He had to drive his car with his foot on the gas pedal slightly to avoid it from shutting down. We checked everything: the hoses clamps etc.. and everything seemed to be in place. Please help. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Sorry to hear things are not working to well right now.. One thing that comes to mind since you said everything is attached. Make sure there are no air leaks and the thing that comes to mind is a problem with the MAS sensor being hooked up right. which I hope you hooked up the sensor to the new intake? You can most likely use this link for reference and see if you missed anything:

Good luck!

Just a suggestion but isnt there an idle air control screw that you can turn to adjust idle? Maybe its trying to stall cause its not adjusted right. Just a thought.
