^ I will have to disagree with you. It's been stated several times that this is a 2 year old rumor.
This is America, the land is vast, mobility is always a challenge for Americans. Newer, cleaner vehicles is becoming an increasing demand even after hearing this morning about the news of our government capping bailout funds for domestic automakers. International automakers will have their chance once again in this American automarket.
The automotive industry is facing a new revolution, not jumping in a time machine to go revive a dead name.

"electric" per se is not the future. hydrogen is. unfortunately we lack the infrastructure to implement that right now. That honda FCX clarity is pretty fuckin cool for what it is. Ghosn brought back the gtr, he said he'd bring back the silvia (not exactly in those words). i think he will do it.
