ok this is going to be kind of hard for me to explain but im going to do my best...

for the past month or sooo my car has been makeing this weird rattleing/griding noise. now my car does have rod knock but i really dont think that is what is cuaseing this noise...

anyways on a cold start it doesint sound bad and sometimes when its warm it doesint sound bad.. but ill drive and once i hit like 2000rpms it starts to make that noise then it will stop around 3000 or kinda just pop in and out in between 2 and 3 or somtimes 4..

and say i was just cruseing in 3erd or 4th gear at like 2000/2500 and gave it gas it would make that noise... it almost sounds like a bunch of rocks in a plastic container getting shaked... and its deff comeing fromt he front end of the car... now i had my a/c compressor haning but i took that off soo i rly was thinking its either my turbo, tranny or it could really be the knock just makeing other noises

now if i get out of my car and put it in nutreal and just give it gas it doesint make the noise.. thats why i asumed it would be something to do with the drive train

but yea idk if anyone could relate to this or helpme figure it out becuase im pretty stumed my self and a few others are along with me.. i just wana figure it out becuase im trying to fix shit thats wrong with my car and take my time doing it

Id still vote rod knock.. I had it on an engine and it only did it under load in certain rpm ranges.. if you know the rod is knocking why are you still driving the car?!

and im rideing my car with knock becuase its the only car i have to get me 2 and from work for now.. im about to buy another block tho and swap all my shit to that block..



but yea i mean i dont think its doing that becuase of the knock i think its something else...its a very odd noise..it sounds like when you drag a full trashcan across a concrete driveway or somethign lol its werid it kinda just started happening
