Default Question for all S14 owners with Rb25 swap

I am working on my Rb25 project and I am taking my time with this project to make sure it is done right. Since I have a bit of help from my father who is an active and long time drag racer, I am tossing the idea of a V mount intercooler setup on my Zenki.

If it can be done without compromising the integrity of the car/bay and if it can be done without making the engine bay look like a frankenstien job I will make a go for it. If not then front mount it is.

So doing a bit of homework I am curious about the distance from
1- front of the engine to the top cross section of the radiator support
2 -front of the engine to the where you hit the bumper area.

I included a high-def, pixar quality picture to show you where and what I am talking about.......

Any help is appreciate it.
Thanks,
-B

Looks like you will require a "custom" core support to do that. It might be a little more fabrication than you care to do...

how do you know I am not willing to do the fabrication? After all I have my dad's contacts and friends at my disposal, which includes a jam up fabricator........

If you want to do it, have the skill and tools at your disposal then more power to you. I was just saying it isn't a "drop in" affair. No need to get touchy.

God damn shut up.

You already asked this question in an earlier thread and we told you if you're that much of an expert fabricator, go fucking fabricate. V mount with an RB is absolutelyfuckingretarded. But go for it. Your intercooler will be hanging out of your grill.

(I know its not an RB25, but all RB's have the same length. Where's your intercooler going?)

i was about to say, then fabricate the damn thing, but you clearly stated "i dont want my engine bay looking frankestein". What do you hope to gain by going "V" mount?

step 1: measure core support width. step 2: use the width in that picture to scale with your measurement step 3: ???? step 4: profit

Never once claimed to be the "expert fabricator" like you said (reading ftl) and I never asked this question, but mearly stated in a previous thread what I was going for, which some people asked questions and stated their opinions.
And from from what you are implying I should just go to my dad's friends and get it done seeing as EVERYONE and ALL fab guys have a 240sx with an rb25det swap in it at their disposal Hence the thread with the question....

I bet life in your world must be awesome!

Maybe instead of acting like a E-forum douchebag and sounding like a woman on the rag, why don't you try to throw in some useful info or just be a big boy and skip this thread and move onto another one. (it really isn't hard to do)

Whoever told you that acting like a tool on TR was cool, lied to you.......

Thanks,
-B
