Here's the deal man. Cool intentions are one thing, and you've got some. Fair enough. You seem like a reasonably intelligent guy. You choose the coolest s-chassis (s14 zenki ) and at least you didn't choose an RB20 (bleh) when you decided you wanted an RB. There's tons of retards that post on here trying to do things that just don't make sense everyday. Its easy to poke fun at those kids.

All jokes aside. Just by looking at that picture I posted of that RB26 in an S14. Do you see enough space to put a V mount? Honestly? V-mounts with 4 cylinder SR20's don't have a ton of spare room. Adding two more cylinders in there REALLLLY doesn't leave you with any room to squeeze all that shit in there...

The RB sits about 6" away from the core support as you can guestimate from the picture you posted, and the intercoolers will have the dimensions listed and there are a million differnt sizes to choose from. So thats not to hard. Use your head.

"Small" differences dont mean shit. You just work around them. Thats the point of fabrication. You have to make everything work.

Duh.

PS if you get an RB in your car just do a front mount like whats been done since forever.

V-Mounts dont really work on the street unless you run a big ass fan.

I can appreciate and respect being tactful in getting across what you would like to say. So my apologies at jabbing back at ya. And trust me I don't post often and I read some of the craziest ideas and retarded notions that some people do. I keep to myself and enjoy my hobby with my cars outside of any forum. From the initial picture you are 100% correct on the idea of not enough room. but stuff like this just can't be done just by looking at pictures.

I will never boast about oh I am going to do this and my car is going to be the uber stink nastiest 240 driftomatic car out there, I do what I can with what I got and if an idea gets trumped then it gets trashed. By no means am I going to just quit and not take a honest and sincere crack at it to be different.

Everyone takes the internet too seriously.

Does my picture show up? Of that gold RB26? I know the first link I put up was broken...

Not to be overly rude, but a Vmount RB25 240 isnt really super different.

I really don't physically think there's room... there's a couple guys in this thread who have done some pretty cool fabrication on other cars saying it won't fit.
