Exclamation Infiniti J30 -- Shaking while driving

What are the possibilities that are causing the car to shake?

When I hit about 45-50mph it will shake kind of hard. Any other time it is just slightly shaking. I know my suspension is going out, so I will be replacing that. But, if there are any other fixes that I might be able to do before the suspension, I'd like to get this shaking problem fixed. It feels like it is coming from the front, and not the rear. Not to mention, the rear suspension is fine right now. But, I am sure I will eventually have to replace that as well.

I am replacing the power steering pump today because it has worn out.

Any information is appreciated. Thank you,
Mike

I know this is a while after my original post, I have been very busy... People need to stop getting hurt and going to the hospital! But anyway, I really appreciate the responses. I will begin checking the lower control arms, ball joints, and the tie rods. Along with getting the wheels balanced. Are these the main and most probable causes? I don't mind spending the time and money to fix it, I just want to make sure it's not a guessing game. Thanks!!

Most likely a wheel balance issue, yes.

yea check alignment balance things first.

but i really think your problem might be your cv joints.

CV joints rattle and click around corners. They won't cause vibrations.

Why do people insist on posting misinformation?

trying to make them seem "car smart" i guess. since everyone else said alignment and balancing.
only input he had left was cv joints/axels.

check your head light too, makes my car shake all the time.
just kidding
