I need the width of the FRONT caliper mounting tabs for both a 240sx and a 300zx. I don't own either vehicle so I am asking for a little help to save time. In mm how thick is the tab for each? I am looking for the depth and I know that these two cars have different thicknesses. Thanks

 

Are 4 lung and 5 lug the same? I know Rx7s differ between the two.

 

The S chassis stuff should be the same but I don't know for sure??? I need the 5 lug though..

 

Its 100mm from centermark to centermark. I needed this measurement when I made my brackets for my Brembos. If you need the diagram for a visual let me know and I will PM it to you.

I am looking into getting a bracket to make the 350Z track rotors fit my 300zx calipers but there is a bunch of other factors since I have Y32 coilovers instead of 300zx or S chassis coils. The bracket size will be dependent on the thickness of the tabs since the bracket will sit on the back of the tabs instead of the front. Thanks

 

I'm 99% sure that the spindle side is 14mm thick. On S14's.

Why are you having brackets made for this? People sell these already. Why would what coils you have affect anything? Y32 should be the same as Z32 stuff.

 

Ohhhh I misunderstood your post. Im pretty sure its 14mm as well. Since its a little bigger than 1/2 an inch.

 

because I can't find any confirmation that these are in fact the exact same size as 300zx yet. Thats part of what I am trying to find out. I'm not going to have bracket made I will be using either the s chassis or the 300zx but I may need to mod them and I am trying to find out which one is more appropriate to start with.

By the way , the Y32 's are 15mm?? I'm wondering if they are actually 14mm but the tape measure tip is throwing off the measurement

 

i would measure all this shit myself if i were you, rather than trust a bunch of morons on the internet.

measure twice, cut once.

 

Don't worry, These are only initial measurements since the final product will be custom fit measured and double checked then milled down to fit. Thanks though.
