I'm ordering one this week, any ideas as to which--best bang for my buck kinda' deal.

I'd probably get a power fc if I was forced to go stand alone. But thats because it plugs right into the SR harness.

Why not get a rom tune?

Haltech E8? I've got one with the S13 SR20 patch harness/flying leads & sensors, basically plug and play. For $1100 you can have it.

99% of what you want in a stand alone you can get with a rom tune, and you'll have alot better drivability.

but if youre dead set on it, do something that offer autotune. it helps alot.

autronic, vipec, motec, haltechs are pretty good tooo.
