Well I've seen a few "perfect" 240's but they're not going sideways... I'm building what you would call a "perfect" 240, but its costing me more then what I expected, I think I've put out 8k in parts to just get it back in shape to be called "near perfect" I guess thats a reason behind why its far and few "perfect" 240's out there...

Perfection has no price, but I'll tell you what; It'll be at least 20k to have something that you could even nominate.

I'm suprised that no one has pointed out that the "perfect 240" isn't really a 240. It's an S15. Try harder guys.

Start here: S15, seam welded, gussetted, foamed. Double wishbone R34 front conversion. 255/275 tire on 18" CE28N's. OTS Z-tune Ohlins would probably fit after the conversion. 30R small cover twinscroll SR22VET with stock 20V cams on a 350Z 6-speed. air-water intercooling with heat exchanger mounted on the side. Stock interior with Sparco EVO's, a harness bar, a leather wheel, and Defi DSSC. No gay aero, APR splitter, APR 300 wing for the track on a bumper mount, paint the whole thing Championship white, wheels are bronze. Go beat up the guy that has the Florida license plate "23" and put in on the car.

My only problem with Epsteins plan is it being RHD, I've never liked driving on the wrong side of the road. Even at a track it would take me too long to get my perception on where to place the car correctly for me. Last time I drove a RHD car I was all over the place, and I tended to drift into the left side of the lane because I was used to being on that side of the road.

I hear ya, I've spent a lot of money into getting my interior looking good. I totally understand not many 240's are perfect but their is a few out there that are perfect though.

That's why if i ever get an S15 I'm going to just use an S14 firewall and dash in the bitch , and be done with it. they are almost identical @ the dashboard anyway.

for me, a perfect car would be to find an 89 two tone coupe that was left in a nissan ware house / showroom / garage for the past 20 years. never registered. with like 13 original miles on it.

He ask what was our perfect 240, he didn't put any rules to this game lol.. if your 240 had laser beams and a Gatling gun then that is your "perfect 240".

I honestly believe with the right amount of creativity, drive, and $$$ you can do whatever you want... want to be the inventor of the "M" mount ?? if you want it that much and have the pockets for it who is to say it can't be done?

My dad and his buddies are big time into the drag race scene ( might've seen their dragster run out at the strip here and there, it was named "TROPICAL HEAT" ) . With the help of my dad, I am going to make a go at the v mount with my s14 and rb25. If it can be done (and Done RIGHT)without compromising body integrity and performance, I will get it done.

I'll keep those interested update once I get to that point in my build.

Now back to those "perfect" 240's
