i have an sr20det question
just curious im doing some bottom end upgrades what size piston should i do? im building the motor for drifting really i dont want to up the size of the piston soi i dont have to re sleve it i hear 86.5mm is a good bore to go its 20 over correct? what is stock sr bore?

it really depends on the shape of the engine before the rebuild. i went with 86mm because i will get an 86.5 and an 87mm rebuild out of it down the road before i need to go to sleeves.
also it depends on the brand piston you want to go with. some have better sized ring packs than others depending on the bore you go with.
lastly, what are you doing so special for ' drifting ' ? just wondering

well not special for drifting i just want to build it for more bottom end power then top speed ya know more tourqe and faster spooling im not doing any head work yet i figured seince i have kock i mind as well do some bottom end while its out of my car for reberring..
