Oh, it'll never be "finished." Running and driving? Week or 2 tops....it's really close. I'm taking my time on purpose, I don't like rushing through stuff and making things look sloppy.

Let's see:
Intercooler piping
More wire goodness
Misc vacuum organization
O2 wiring
Differential work
Rear susp arms
Exhaust work
Fuel pump and wiring
Pedal assemblies 5-speed
Cage work
Install seats
Finish s14 zenki front
Paint/body
Reassemble interior
Bang out oilpan
Change plugs
Re-do ps pump

That's all I can think of at the moment. Its good to put it all down.

Picture time.

The intercooler bracket. Nothing ever goes easily or according to plan so I made this out of 2 brackets I found and some aluminum bar stock.

These needed paint. Had to tie in the green valve cover somehow, these are the token pieces as I don't want to go overboard at all.

This is where incomprehensible stuff happens.

This is my not-so-finished oil catch can. I need to re-do the top since a simple t-fitting won't give me any real benefit. I plan on using two stainless brake lines side by side in the immediate future (read: before it runs). You can also see the bead blasted and cleared MAF in this shot. Ignore the bobo air filter.

This finally got slathered in clear. I know it has been seen before but thankfully it is now done. Clear laid great, the hot water bucket trick is full of win.

I was curious to see where the intercooler sat in relation to the bumper so I did some mock-up. Note how the pop-up on one side makes it look like a mid-90's Celica.

Finally in its home complete with all hardware detailed. I'll eventually get Honda nuts for it as they look 10x better being chrome.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by and helped out this weekend. There are so many little details that we worked on that just can't be covered (or that are really interesting).

Until next week...

nice work, I like the subtle tie in of the Strut bar brackets. you should do the injector caps too. LMK if you need any help.

Good idea, I'll either polish or paint those if I can get those damn screws out in one piece.
