my bandwagon build thread
At first, I was going to go with the glossy look. After I just gave it a base coat, I thought that matte metallic base was where it was at:

Wiring...wiring.

I did the wire tuck stuffs, horn placement, mystery sensor relocate.

This is why I don't toss out old bracketry. 2 shorty radiator brackets look better than the standard short/long setup.

Bent a wheel brush all up to clean the coolant overflow. Turned out pretty decent, still may buy a new one since I'm anal about that shit.

Another view of the front tuck.
That's all I have pictures of for now. I did put new hubs on the car with extended studs (yay, welding!), and I burninated the bushings out of the S14 control arms I had laying around so I could install new bushings/ball joints.

mystery sensor = ambient air temp for A/C; when i relocated mine behind that support, it was so close to the condenser and radiator that it kept cycling my fans hardcore.
also, did you test fitment of the FMIC with that thick harness on the core like that? might be close clearance, plus chances are it's going to muffle the heck out of your horns. just a thought. when i had uber tuck, i tucked that harness under the top radiator support. it was baller, but it required basically pulling the harness and rerouting it. not worth it in the end lol. it's all hidden by bumper anyways.
bay paint looks good though.

Oh good, I can just unplug that sensor then.
The harness originally went right under the core support, I decided I didn't like the little plastic nipples sticking out of the nice support so I chucked the harness down there. Should have a decent amount of clearance. The horns...no idea if they'll be loud or not...I'm just happy to have a working set. With the bumper setup I'll be running, we should have the clearance. *fingers crossed*
We tugged the entire harness out, it was tons of fun.
Fuse/relay boxes will be hidden as well.

I hosed it down with Tire Wet after using Nu Finish.

I just saw this picture and I'm picking it apart.

Gives me a few hints on how to further clean stuff up, at least mine won't have anything in front of the motor.
