Default Turbo question

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone has any input on the I'm looking at getting for my sr20 build. Its a GT3082R Dual BB twin scroll T3 with a .78 A/R and a ported shroud (anti-surge) machining. It will be used with the full race twin scroll twin WG manifold. I'm shooting for 450-500 whp. Sr gurus I need some input. Thanks.

pros and cons that people know of running this turbo or would there be something better. I want good response, not to much lag. I will be boosting to around 9000rpms. I want to know how these turbos do as daily drivers on sr20s. The sr20 is going to be built from the ground up. Also what are some pros and cons of solid lifters.

at the strip lag wont be an issue but if u plan on sliding this car 30r is overkill in my opinion esp. if uve nvr taken a car sideways lol.. could be good for the 3rd or 4th gear entrys i guess lol and yay for solid lifters! boo for constant adjustment..a car with solid lifters sounds awesome but in my opinion id go with a roller set up..a little more street friendly

I probly won't be sliding this car. If i wanted to go sliding I do a t28 setup. I'm thinking more along the lines of highway fun.

Dude, you should buy epstein's setup listed for sale for like , WAY beter price than you'll find anywhere. IT's a 3071 but it will do 450 on pump gas. still twin scroll, tial 44, all that shit

[knowledge]
btw... a 3082 is not a 30R... a 3076 is..

the 3082 is what enthalpy ran to acheive 539 rwhp.. the down side is that it is old school and the wheel is a old nc-111 which makes it laggier than a 35R which will do more work.

this is the old hks 3037 variant..

buy epsteins setup and you will be happier than a pig in shit...
