thanks man. maybe just some nicer wheels and some coilovers or a nice spring/strut combo. i want to keep this one simple while i am finishing up school. once i graduate....... possibilities are endless........

and presidential- thanks on the compliment about the truck. it was my dad's first vehicle. he bought it at 15 years old for $250! its a 1955 1/2 (series 2) chevy stepside. its all original, hardwood bed, 3speed on the column manual trans. very fun sunday driver. it gets lots of pleasant looks.

Is it a 283 or an inline 6?

straight 6

4 wheel drum brakes

it is definately a slow cruiser. dont wanna go over 45 mph. it loves the backstreets of temple terrace (along golf course)

Cruisers like that are fun. That motor has a lot of torque but the truck it too pretty to use for its pulling/utility power.
