What is this (circled) is it a sidemarker? a badge? ive tried to google it but not knowing what it is limits my results. i find it in very few pictures. if anyone knows, let me know.

^^thats what i though except for the fact that i rarely see it on pictures of 180sx's but also that when it is not present, there is no hole in the fender like you would expect to see if there was supposed to be a light there. then i thought maybe a badge, but to my knowledge, the 180sx didnt have badging other than the rear center light and the quarter windows.

 

u can always drill a hole and put a universal side marker.

agreed. alot of people drill a hole in fender and install side markers whether they are oem or not
