Dude, I'm talking "Z" shops. ZFever is the WORST shop for 300zx's and Z cars ever.

I'd rather go to :

Advanced Racing Techology in Bradenton (Derek down there is A+++), and FAIR priced

For Z's:

my 2 cents is: Fever Racing built my entire car.. from the first plain as jane Sr20det swap in my s14. then. . . j30 swap . . then big brakes (300z brakes) then full build.. and tune and other little goodies.. i can count on one hand on my fingers how many problems have been related to the work that was done there.... oh.. i dont have any fingers! seriously.. i have had no problems and doug.. the owner will work with you.. if you think the price is crazy be a man and tell him. he has worked with me on stuff.. he came to his shop at 1:30 am IN THE MORNING after i broke my output shaft at the track with my beast of which they built if i forgot to mention.. he let me in and put my car in the shop.. then.... oh yes.. then i got down there at 8:30 the next day (friday) and they had my car up on the rack with a tranny getting put in.. i was off to work by 12pm.. did i mention my car ran a 11.6 at bradenton? it has A/C that freezed my nutts i daily drive it 70 mile round trip from and to work everyday... 6 days a week.. to my store.. btw i sell guns.. and hardware.. ok back to the subject at hand.. EVERY SHOP has its demons.. cars dont always come out perfect.. some of the horror stories about shops are actually owner ignorance the problem cars i have seen come in that shop are owner ignorance.. for example guy cant get car started.. he has fuel pump backward and line is completely kinked LOL.. Martin is a genius he turned it around.. LOL seriously i love you man.. oh and the car had pvc intercooler piping.. ok back to the story again.. they did my 5 lug swap, motor, turbo, rear end, tranny, built motor, wiring harness, tune, and probably some other shit i am forgetting.. Ok.. about Doug (the owner) as far as a personal guy.. at first i did not like him either.. i was pissed off and pissed on.. or so i felt.. after i actually went down there like a man (instead of taking shots at him on TR) and talked to him face to face i found out he is a pretty reasonable guy... and the ladies love him so it is in everyone best interest on TR to be his friend.. NO ONE is perfect! he is anal as hell and does not want you to come back because they did something wrong. I actually went from a Z car to a 240 car.. Z cars are great, but lets face it they are so fragile. Shop Doug can take one apart and put it together with his eyes closed. Jeff.. well jeff is Jeff. He is a gear head. Martin is a damn genius if i did not mention that already.. and Doug the owner is a pretty good business guy. if you dont have common sense with cars you dont need a car to build.. if you have common sense and know cars cost money to do what i have done FEVER RACING is the shop. have a good night. Martin did i mention you are a freakin genius!

Would you happen to be the fellow that accidently engaged his remote start when his car was at Z-Fever and then got his legs crushed by his own car because he jumped in front of it to try to stop it ? Same fellow that sued Z-Fever and got his case immediately thrown out because the judge fell on the floor laughing so hard when he looked at the circumstances and couldn't believe anyone could be so fucking stupid ?

I know the kid who sued Doug (who you are referring to). I own his car now, but I am not Josh. Josh now owns a '93 TT w/ 25k miles on it. There are a few others who have sued Doug as well, and to my knowledge that case is not thrown out. I cant tell you how many Z's in this area have had SHIT jobs done by Z Fever. When we took this car apart we found so many shortcuts from Z Fever, and even one that I still have to deal with because I dont have the time to fix it. One of the dumbfucks down at your shop decided to put a 240sx's clutch pedal pump in my car instead of the proper z32 pump and my clutch pedal is a pain in the ass to push in almost all the time. I've had it checked at a dealership (you know, where the work is guaranteed to be right, not some shady ass shop like you work at). My old car had shortcuts from Z Fever as well, and I bet you if you talk to ANYONE in this area who has dealt with your shop in the past, they will tell you how SHITTY your work is. You maybe not (I dont know you personally), but the shop as a whole, is pure trash. It's OVERPRICED and the work is less than subpar. You guys have fucking side mounts for sale on your site for like 1200$! I bought mine from a known vendor for less and I guarantee they flow better. One day it'll come back to bite you guys in the ass, and I know a Z shop that may be opening here soon in the bay area who does GOOD work so I hope they steal all your business. You can only fuck over people for so long.
