Default KADE S13 over heating woes

so my s13 over heated before and the tags expired so i parked it in my storage unit. I finally wanted to commute with it again for awhile so i brought it back and smogged/registered it. So I know it needs a radiator bc it had a bad leak. bought a nice used one today and put it in, over heating again within 3 miles, heater on blast still nothing.

so i went and bought a thermostat and put it in a little bit ago. when i bled it i had the cap off, front end jacked up, and kept squeezing the upper radiator hose and ran it with the heater on full blast til it got to operating temp. i cant open the bleeder bc the bold head it broken off so i left the cap off for a while and was squeezing the shit out of the top hose.

drove it, the temp guage was going up and down and finally settled on up, almost to full H. brought the car back home and you can hear it gargling in the upper hose. wtf, water pump? clutch fan seems like its working ok, still air in the system? im getting irritated
