It's unfortunate that the GM pick-ups are divided by Chevy and GMC. Combined, IIRC they would outsell the Furds.

Back on topic, I don't think that Nissan wants to outsell the big boys, just take a bite that's larger than the one it has been taking.

we'll see. like i implied before, nissans/titans are pretty cheap, they could probably compete pretty well with the dodge powerplant.

toyota is supposed to get into fleet as well. tundras are supposed to get turbodiesel engines and a possible dually version. dually twin turbo diesel tundra - fucking boss.

and the 5.7 hemis are GREAT engines, cant say much for dodge transmissions though, hopefully nissan uses their own.
I am fully aware that Cummins is a seperate company and not Dodge, I was merely remarking that of the dodge line up that is the only part that I would like to see Nissan use.

there was word of dodge not long using Cummins in the near future. I still see toyota just doing away with the tundra or not going into larger trucks. I really see that market just going back to ppl who actually use the trucks and not ppl that wana large truck for status, and ppl that use those trucks can be pretty die hard about their brand loyality

+1 the days of buying trucks just to have them is coming to an end. people wont be willing to dish the unnecessary money on gas to daily drive these things anymore when you can easily be getting 30+ mpg with some $14,000 fit. go around and look in peoples truck beds, maybe 1 in 10 people are actually hauling something more than a old nasty towel and a sprite can.

I always hauled around leaves and bottle caps. Didn't put them there myself, they found their way in there somehow. People suck.
