ive been under my dash for a couple nite's trying to figure why my dash light's wont work [Cluster,clock,ac slider's and word's but the green light's still work]

and

my passanger side headlight wont go on.......
bought new bulb's put em in and...nothing
but both hi beam's work tho????

that and i noticed that my itermittint winshield wiper's dont work

could the switch do tho's two thing's???


ok the dash light's

my dad was installing my remote start in my 1991 240sx
every thing was going good till it got too late so he stoped and
went in for the nite...

went to pull out the next moring to go to work and my dash light's dont work
and im like wtf???

i just got in tonight and checked and there's nothing visible i can see

but

ive hurd horror story's that the TCU burn's out on 240's....but wouldn't that mean my stereo would bet cut out too???

 

could be a bad ground..

 

were tho??

 

there is a little whit and black box under the dash. behind the kick panel (left foot) he might have shorted them out.
go to a junk yard a bought mine for 5$

but check all ur grounds first
