350z stroker kit
whats up everyone. I got a stupid sounding question but i have to ask (its so stupid i couldnt find in online). How do you know if your car has a stroker kit in it? I ask because about a year ago i bought a 2005 350z from this crappy dealership in hollywood fl that buys cars and flips them fast. After i bought the car i noticed it had a few mods (cold air intake, k&n filter, spc rear camber arms, and a racing clutch). the car has a whole lot of torque more than other z's i've been in. i notice that the car drops off right at 6500 rpm, where the red line starts. i've read online that they go to 7200 rpms (is this true). I just wanted to know if their is any sure way i could tell without taking the engine apart or getting it dyno'ed.
any help would be apreciated, future thanks.

i put together a stroker vq about a year ago... needless to say.. you don't dump 15K into a block to keep it NA and resell it to a dealer.

How do you buy a Z without seeing the mods? Get rid of the CAI and get an 06 airbox with a K&N drop in...gives the most power(Even if it is only like 3 hp haha) It may have diff gears like the 3.8's or something and that may be what you are feeling but I doubt it. Actually if you are new to the Z, you just may not be used to it yet...it likes to slip the tires stock.
