Default help an old dude out

I have a 2004 G35 Coupe. I just replaced the battery. Unforunately I did not keep power to the car when I was changing the battery. Now when I start the car, it will not stay running, unless I keep my foot on the gas pedal just a little. Then everything is fine. I would like to try to stay away from the dealer. Any help would be appreciated.

you probably have to resynchronize everything. call your dealer and ask them how to do it. my gf's mercedes does this, you have to resynch the windows, radio, ignition, blah blahblah.

Do you have the Bose system in there? I hear that there are alot of issues with batteries going bad due to power drain from the amp... just letting you know.

I do have the Bose system in my car. I have been on a few other forums, they do mention the horror stories about the Bose system. I'm still in warranty so it's off to the dealer I go. Looks like I will be taking it out and going with an aftermarket system, after warranty runs out. Good thing I'm in the car stereo bus...............thanks for your help

pm sameo2, hes an infiniti tech and could point you in the right direction.
they probably wont cover this under warranty, since the battery wasnt installed there, and its technically a customer pay concern.

Thanks for your help with this.......the dealer (Lokey Infinity Clearwater) took care of the reprogramming, and didn't even charge me to do it....

Thanks again
