Default new 240 owner. Clutch Question

So I am pikcing up a 240SX this weekend (not sure which one yet, I have 3 I am looking at).

They are all S13's. I am getting it just as a project car that I can build up from scratch and have fun with. And it will be nice to have RWD again, all this AWD get old

So my question is, one of them (one is best condition looks wise) needs a new clutch. I knwo replacing a clutch on my STI and EVO is an all weekend project that is a PITA.

How is it on a 240? About how long to do if you have air-tools, proper tools and some help. Also are there any write ups on how to do this?

Thank You - Mike

just like the STi in lay out minus the extra driveshaft. The transmission is alot smaller than an STi too so its alot easier. First time should take no more than 6 hours by yourself. If you have a friend and are decent at this stuff already you can knock it out in 2-3 hours.

It usually takes me 4 hours to do it by myself in the driveway.

Oh yea, air tools help in alot of places. I have all the air tools needed but I always use hand tools instead. I actually never use air tools really.

Type in S13 FSM in google. I cant remeber any sites off the top of my head but the factory service manual will help out alot.

lol. the retardedness (contrary to what most people think) is a huge advantage when it comes to everything.

took me 2 days but i had to drive from sarasota up to DC to buy my clutch kit one of the days, and i started on a weekend and had to wait until monday morning to get my flywheel resurfaced

and i take retardly long to do stuff anyhow. the impact gun i was using didn't have a lot of torque so i had to break loose all the bellhousing bolts with a damn wratchet and a shit ton of extensions (and some several 17mm universals later
