Default Project S14

Last week I dropped off a black zenki S14to Driven Concepts for complete paint and parts. I am getting the engine bay, with all interior pieces (including trunk) painted. I decided to pay tribute to my Honda roots and go with Acura Integra SuperSonic blue pearl. Its a blue / purple pearl:

Heres a list of the parts I ordered from DC:

Brand new OEM Nissan JDM Kouki K Bumper / turn signals with radiator support
Brand new OEM Nissan Kouki fenders and hood
Brand new OEM Nissan 5 lug hubs front + rear
New z32 front calipers (w/stainless lines) + new rotors + new pads all around
Brand new 18x9.5" +22 Work Meisters
Brand new 275-35-18 Falken RT-615's all around
Brand new Apexi N1
cut front fenders, and pulled / rolled rears to clear the 275's
Stance GR+ Pros
Tein front tension rods
adj rear toe rods
adj ruca
koyo radiator
a/c
Evo seats + custom rails

I couldnt decide on a motor yet, so they are putting in a stock ka24de with a/c Im not sure which motor I want to go with, thinking Lsx :/ Maybe KA-T.

Hopefully I can get DC to post some pix. Ian has been extremely helpful working with me

I was thinking about it, I just havent seen any hard weight distribution #'s from after the swap which makes me uneasy.

should look good. SSBP is a great color.

i'm a fan of the LS1. there's just something nice about having a reliable n/a setup that you don't have to do much to, besides change the oil. no turbos to check, no oil lines to deal with, no piping or connections to check for leaks, easier tuning. and the weight of the ls1 is more than adequate for an S chassis.

i like 2jz's too. they are also about the easiest to make power on, but end up costing more since you have to ditch all the stock stuff and get a larger turbo and revamp alot of the fuel system and such, on top of an already pricey motorset.

you mentioned interior pieces painted? are you meaning the undersides of the trunk and hood, and insides of the doors? i don't think you'd be into painting the plastic interior.

Before you decide what motor and mods you want, you are first going to have to decide what this car is being built for? What is you power goals. Is this going to be a purpose built car. Drag, drift, auto x, what? It is not wise to choose the motor before you know what you want the car for. Let us know what you are building the car for and then we all can help you make an intelligent decision.
