Default Rear O2 sensor bung size

I've been searching the forum and needed to know the hex size and thread pitch of the rear O2 sensor for a 1995 240SX. I do not have the OEM system on my car currently and I'm installing a universal aftermarket catalytic converter. I've already purchased the converter and will not pay more to get an "direct-fit" one. Thanks to anyone that can be of assistance in advance.
BTW, I believe it is a 12mm size but not for certain.

why you putting a cat on?
to each his own...
as for the size... you're best bet would to just go to tri city bolt and screw, get a nice big fat nut that fits the sensor, then weld that on your exhaust...

I would do something like that but my exhaust system has been completely junked and was wondering if someone knows offhand the hex size and pitch since I do not have a reference of my own to use. And want the cat back on their because I do not want the cel. I've already tried all the other ways to get a rid of it and doesn't work on my car.

No longer have the sensor. Entire exhaust system along with the sensor came off my car when I went hydroplaning across 3 lanes of traffic on I-75 in the rain a month ago and smashed up the rear of my car hitting a concrete barrier which knocked of my entire exhaust system off my car and left for scrap on the side of the road. Needless to say whoever had did the muffler work appeared to have welded the sensor to my exhaust piping which I no longer have. So yeah, I know what you mean but that won't help me out. Anyways, I'm thinking about just fabbing up a test pipe and calling it day so that I can get the car to a body shop to repair the rear of the car.

Thanks. I was thinking the diameter of the sensor was at least 12mm but wasn't sure of the thread pitch. Guess I could've called a local Nissan dealership but last time I needed some info they weren't much of assistance.

pretty much everything youll run into is 1.25 thread, smaller stuff is 1.0 like the small ten milimeter head bolts, those are 6x1.0, the more coarse threaded stuff is 1.5

+1. I actually found a 12X1.25 mm nut from Ace hardware I have as a spare part but don't think it will work if I decide to weld it to my converter. Not sure if the metal would hold up to heat from welding but it might since it's a small item.
