yeh i just bought the car last week and when i test drove it. it did it then i just thought it was the dizzy timing no biggie right well its not. the car runs fine up to 2500rpm then boggs down then it pulls then boggs down again all the way to 6000rpm thats all i took it to. i've messed with the dizzy slowly then drive it. it still does the same thing just worse. if the chain was off by a little would'nt it run even worse than that or even not start? any help would be nice. i hope i dont have to change my timing chain cus its a pain in my dick.

i put it on and it does the samething any other guess's on what it could be. it just boggs down then pulls anywhere after 2500rpm. its starting to piss me off.

defff sounds like a maf, i had the same problema nd then my spare was a dud too

also what can happen is the wires goes to shit before the maf thus making the maf read shitty, so u might wanna trace wires too... turned out to be my problem

ill trace the wires later but i found out that it only does it when the car is warmed up cuz if the car is cold it wont do it. it's weird. also i put my other one on there it does the same thing do i have to reset the ECU or somthing?

if the maf was bad he would not be able to take it all the way to 6k...

it would bog at 3 and stay there...

not in my experience, i had an s14 with a bad maf and it would rev all the way up to 62 and then shift ( it was auto). drove normal other than the bogging bullshit.

so about it only screwing up when the motor is warm. could that be the mafs? or do i have to reset the ECU. im just going to try to read the codes off the ECU that should tell me. but if u know what it cuold be let me know please.
