The VG30DE engine, is anyone familiar with this? I am just wondering if there are any known problems with it or if it is a fairly reliable engine? Any tips on some power adders? ie: cams or fi, i believe the compression is 8.5:1 but im not completely sure.. Just wondering some information and input on this nissan/infiniti engine. Another quick question, if I can't find a part for the Infiniti J30, I should still be able to get something for a Nissan 300ZX since they use the same motor... correct? IE: cold air intake or headers?

 

wut year is the car that the motor is in ?

 

Swap out the VG30DE for a VG30DETT... Theres your power adder. Now for the intake I doubt it will word because of the different engine bays... And the headers should work depending on clearance issue.

Do you have a Maxima or Infiniti? You can put an intake, y-pipe, UDP. Exhaust studs are known to break. Auto transmissions are weak as well
