it gets real hard to shift and wont let me shift in reverse unless i turn the car off first i just bought it and its been sitting for 3 years

one more question i gave it a oil change and changed the plugs and up gas treatment in it. is there any thing else i should add in the fuel tank or the oil? heres one pic

It could be a plethora of things, I'd start by dumping the transmission fluid and inspecting it. It could also be the clutch material breaking down once it gets hot. This can also happen to brake pads if left unused for many years. I'd start to snoop around the clutch master/slave and do a quick visual on those and the hoses as well.

Be sure to replace the spark plugs, cap and rotor. A PCV valve is also a good idea. While you're at it, grab some vacuum lines and replace whatever you find that's cracked/broken/missing.

Did you already change the belts and hoses? Now would be a good time if you didn't.

Nice Three Amigos reference, man.

But I've brought more than my fair share of old non-runners back from the dead, you really have to check so many things. Once the basics are done, the real issues will arise. Odds are, you're going to have to dip into the carb some. Personally, I'd rebuild it or pay someone to do it the right way. Since it's been sitting for so long, there is going to be some deposits in the bowl(s) and the jets are going to have junk in them.

It's not an easy road but if the car is rust free, it'll be worth it long-term.
