Im going to be doing my exhaust soon, and well I need a muffler...

So im looking to see what everyone else seems to think.

I will be looking for a canister type(fart can if you will) with a 4" out. I need it to be stainless. And of course I want it to sound good with the KA.

I will be running full 3" in ambitions of turbo'ing the thing one day... So if your turbo or just KA with 3" show me what kind of muffler you have.

Ok, now looking at some chrome tips.. Muscle car style... If I run those, whats a good muffler to use to give me a nice tone but not too quiet?

3" Dynomax muffler or a 3" Magnaflow. Avoid the cans, mans.

i used to have 3" piping all the way back to a magnaflow when i made a thread like this and im never going back unless a snail comes my way.

cans on ka's are raspyyyyyyyy....go with magnaflow especially if you dont plan on using a cat

Eh, whatever. I'll stick with the 3" exhausts on both of my cars. Neither the dual N1 w/cat or the 270R Nismo w/o cat/resonator sounds raspy on n/a KAs. Stock sucks, it's like exhaling through a drinking straw.

ive had several exhausts on my car and it doesnt matter really what you have or how loud it is, you'll get pulled over. ive had alot of exhausts and i'll put x's next to the ones ive been pulled over with

blitz nur spec-r
apexi dual tip
3 in straight pipe(painted and cut to be low profile)
jdm apexi gt spec
3in side exit exhaust (very loud)
knock off dual tip
apexi n1
apexi gt spec
open down pipe

i have the newer style gt spec now and im keeping it. ive learned with all the exhaust's ive had if its shiny and big you will get a ticket no matter how quiet it is
