Default thoughts on paint colors

well i think its time to respray the car, as much as i like the platinum blue metallic i think im gonna switch it up. im debating between liquid platinum or silver graphite with a black two tone (roof and tinted windows on a hatch) below are some pics of both colors and of the wheels i got on the car. feel free to leave any feedback/opinion good or bad or even suggest another color. i know ultimately its my car my decision but just wanted some input, thanks in advance.

liquid platinum

silver graphite

wheels that will be going with

Dude, you answered your own question. It is "ultimately my decision." Do what makes you happy. Don't care what other people think or say. Good luck with the paint job. And if you got a friend in the paint business, have him mix up a custom color for you. You can even name it after yourself.

opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and they all smell like shit.

I personally cant stand neutral colors, especially any shade of a greatly played out graphite, charcoal, dark silver anything along those lines. I think people need to have more originality and balls when it comes to paint choice.

Also, I think, unless your car is kitted with a nice clean kit, you should stick with OEM paint. Very rarely do I like custom paint on a stock body.

And while im on a rant, why buy fucking POORtotheMAX wheels when you're so concerned with how your cars looks that you'll actually spend a good amount of money on getting a custom paint job?

You wanted my opinion, don't hate me because it was blunt...

^ appreciate it.

im not gonna hate your opinion i hear ya hardass lol, and i bought poor to the max cause i liked the offset and price. i got someone at a reputable shop who owes me a paint job for some work i done for him if i supply materials. why not spend $200 if even on a paint job that would typically cost $1,000+? i agree that custom paint on a stock body looks stupid and although they may not be oem to the 240 i think a oem nissan/infiniti color wouldnt look too custom and off the wall.

im stuck between those two and im having a hard time deciding thats why im asking. thanks for the input tho guys.

hey man, I can't hate if everything is on a budget, wish I had those kinda connections! The colors are ok, I meant more the 2 tone on a stock body will not be up my alley, but hey, props for a clean car, very very rare in tampa. Just pick I nice pinstripe to break up the two tone and it should look pretty clean man.

yea its definitely on a budget but it wont look cheaply done as far as paint goes cause the guy does great work. i was thinking for the two tone just painting the roof black and getting the windows tinted instead of bringing the transition line down on the body or anything, i also think that would look a lil weird on a stock body hatch. thanks for the props and advice.

^lol from you remember? or whoever you sold them for.
