Default How to disarm security on a 96 sentra

I picked up a 96 Nissan sentra GLE, never got any remotes with it.
Worked fine for about a week then Somehow the alarm got armed, horn beeps won't start.

Anyone know how to disable it manually without having a remote?

I only have a plain metal key, not sure if these had chipped keys or not.

I have tried unlocking the doors and trunk with the key, no luck.

I have looked for an aftermarket alarm in the car under the dash and such but can't locate one so I think it is factory.

Any help appreciated

You can try this trick, disconnect the battery, turn the ing on and reconnect the battery. That should over ride a factory alarm, aftermarket it may have no effect.

If you used a normal key and it's a chipped key (prolly is) you just earned yourself a trip to the dealership to buy a new factory key with a chip in it and get it re-programmed. You can use the metal keys in the doors and trunk but not the ignition, it will lock you out and disable your car from starting.

Ya i just realized that.
How long are the blinking intervals on your Anti-Theft light?
Is there a theft warning relay? Most of the stock alarm systems simply disable the starting circit.
