s this possible? 351s13
okay, its very possible that i could pix up a 351w from a close friend for next to nothing. this is carbed so my question is would this be possile for me to thow in my s13 shell. i know id need a custom drivehaft and motor mounts, probably custom oil pan, since ive heard of people doin a 302 swap but i dunno if ill have enough engine bay room and what the fuck i would need to do to get elctronics/speedo and shit to work let. any help guys? (plus the carb would probably not clear the hod because its an aftermarket edelbrock intake mani and carb.
ya this camero im trying to get has a built 350...i was thinkin about doin the same thing only with an s14. good luck and keep us updated if you go through with it, im anxious to see how this would turn out!

351W is not a bad motor yes it will fit and everything basic wiring for the engine (distributor start motor altenator) Trans? I dunno T5 Tremic? all the v8 swaps are more or less the same Custom exhaust and headers are going to be the hardest. Also speedo and tach can be done with dakota digital products that can convert the signal for you. Good luck

well i just have a love for v8's but the motor because its my freinds and he was gona throw it in a fox body mustang with a detroit locker rear end but he decided to stay with the h.o 302, i have been thinkin about the ls1 swap forever but its so f'in expensive. i was gona get it for $150 but he might be giving it to his brother so i was just expanding upon a possible option to see how hard it would be to do this.
