where is a good place to get an sr20det from.. full motor set... im loooking into an s14 sr for my s14... ive looked at a few places online like heaveytrottle and tiger japanese but did anyone on TR ever order there motor online? if soo where from and how was your service, price, and the conditon of the engine... did it ship in good shape and start on the install?? there is places local that sell the engine but im just curious to know.. thanks

 

i would go through xat racing or driven concepts in case something happens and you need to talk to them for help.

also, osaka jdm motors is a good place if you want to order one.

any motor ive ordered from there looks like it was salvaged from the bottom of the ocean and has any possible sensor broken, or melted.

 

^ it happed to C*P couple years ago. They sent them a complete new motorset. Couple of weeks ago, pete ordered a CA motor from them, but the ECU, FMIC, other shit didn't come with it. It all came several days later.
Yeah, I wouldnt order a motor from Osaka. They are like Walmart. Don't buy from them.
I bought my motorset from JDM Market. Like i said last week, they drive the car themselves before chopping it up, and shipping it to insure it's a good motor. I bought a motor from a small shop in orlando called Totally Modified. I never heard of them, so i had them to start up the motor before i hand them the cash.
People on here sell their SR's for a decent price, no need to look far. Jordan T just sold his S13 w/SR for 3500, another guy who's desperate to sell his motor set for 2500 with a test drive posted his shit couple weeks ago. Like i said, no need to look far for a SR anymore.
