Ok so I been searching for coilovers for my S14. And I wanted something below a grand more in the 700-900 area. My first thought was to get Badgerworks but they stop making them then my second option was to get BC with a custom 9/7 rate but they are 1025 Shipped. I was told not to get Megan's or Ksport so here is my options. Any1 that can shine some light on any of the products will be rep'd here goes:

Most of the comments I've read or heard about megans have been pretty positive. I actually am expecting my megan street coilovers to come in on Friday. For the money they seem decent. K-sport's on the other hand, I haven't gotten much positive feedback on.

man. you would think someone would have made a thread by now about what coilovers to choose and why........

 

why do people not like the k sports.. yes, they are stiff, but they are not bouncy. you cant expect them to ride like the $1500 coilovers when they are like half the price.

 

i dont like them because they dont ride like 1500$ coilovers.
bouncy and stiff are often times used incorrectly i think.

 

this is true, but for people on a budget, i think they are great.. if i had 1500 layin around, i would go for a different setup, but for the price i have no complaints

 

What about D2's?

 

Dont go with D'2 or K Sports. Ive known people from both companies blow them in about a couple of months. Yes most K sports are very bouncy and unreliable. I have the Megan Streets on my car that I got from Dan a little while ago and their perfect for my intentions. They haven't been bouncy at all for me and have quite a few miles on them and none have blown. If you have a daily driver just get the Megans or save up a little more and get the Stance's. The Megans, D2, and Ksports are going to be nothing like 1500 coilovers as stated.
