exactly sandy. to me its not worth it but if i had all the other stuff another $75 wouldnt be bad since it looks kinda neat lol :ricer:

it's a smaller diameter. it's not really reducing the slack in the line (that should be taken care of during normal maintenance anyways). the basis of pulleys/gears is that a smaller pulley is going to move faster than a larger one. think about a car running undersized tire diameters, they'll be spinning alot faster than 80mph when the speedo is reading 80mph. same deal with a throttle pulley, it's supposed to increase throttle response by turning more at a certain pedal input compared to the stock unit.

in the end, you don't feel much at all. i would almost think someone would end up breaking their throttle plate shaft or something. i dunno. spend money elsewhere.

alright, makes sense. This thread has absolutely nothing to do with crank pulleys.

Can you believe no NAPA, Autozone, or Advance Auto had any iridium or platinum plugs by my house.

those are a waste of money.
the regular NGK BKR7ES11 will do just fine, if you're running a stock or mild setup.

I wasn't going to get iridiums just because their almost $9 each but I don't mind spending $2.50 on platinums.

but will the difference be great?
Just run the NGK ...11 until you find some platinums.
just replace them every 8-12 months

I ended up finding a place with the platinums today so I got them. The difference wont be great but I would rather follow the FSM. lol
